I was hired this year by New Roots Landscaping and Gardening Services Ltd. (With whom I worked on the mural last year) to provide a logo. This would be for use in a variety of places, including on the van, stitched onto uniforms, and business cards.
As is my wont, I provided a modular logo. The central tree was hand-drawn, then scanned into Photoshop and turned into a custom vector shape.
The basic form is below:
However, there is also a far flashier variant with lovely wings:
Of course, the central circle-area with the tree can also be removed and used by itself.
Finally, the logo is also modular as regards colour, fitting comfortably against many different-coloured backgrounds. For instance, for their business cards the client requested the logo in the company livery:
These are the same colours used on the embroidered uniforms, seen below:
In addition to designing the logo, I have provided New Roots with a simple website and WordPress blog which can be viewed here, as well as managing their social media accounts.
